Community and Cultural Involvement: About this Group

Purpose of the Community & Cultural Involvement Standing Committee

The Community and Cultural Involvement Standing Committee (CCISC) of Pulaski Technical College exists to provide guidance to the college administration and board of trustees, through the Quality Council.  Activities of the CCISC include (but are not limited to) the following:

1. Review quality and quantity of PTC's cultural involvement offerings on campus and provide suggestions for greater student engagement and greater communication with constituents.

2. Strengthen PTC's image and reputation by positively influencing perceptions of the college's capabilities, resources, programs, and culture.

3. Acknowledge, increase awareness of, and encourage diversity through cultural events as it relates to the student population and community relationships.

4. Strengthen PTC's profile in the news, business, and educational media.

5. Establish guidelines for data collection regarding college's community outreach efforts.

6. Recommend best practices for student engagement and satisfaction with cultural involvement opportunities.

7. Enhance and facilitate communication of campus activities.
