Diversity represents the full spectrum of human demographic differences -- race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status or physical and mental disability.
Intersectionality refers to the different parts of your identity and how they overlap one another. Do you identify as Asian and/or Latinx? A gay man? A construction worker? A teacher? All of these different aspects make up our identities and shape how we perceive the world, and in return, how the world perceives us as individuals.
