Here is the citation information for a journal article:

Lastname, F. M., Lastname, F. M. & Lastname, F. M (Year of Publication). Title of article. Title of Journal, Volume(Issue), pages.

• If a doi number is available, list it after the page numbers.
• For magazines and newspapers give month and day in publication, if available. 

1. Author.

2. Date of publication (in parenthesis)

• For magazines: In addition to the year of publication, list the month and, for weekly magazines, the day.

3. Article title.

4. Journal or magazine title (in italics). Capitalize all major words.

5. Volume, issue and page numbers.

• italicize the volume number, not the issue number), followed by the page numbers.

6. DOI number (if available). If not available, list the name of the database in which you found the article.

Lastname, Firstinitial.  (Year) Title of article. Title of Journal, Volume(Issue), pages. DOI number or article URL.
