Updates to 2019-2020 Faculty Handbook to include Faculty Senate approved Grievance Policy.

After modifications to ensure alignment with UA Board Policy, this Draft of Rank and Promotion Document sent to Faculty Senate October 2019. This in version, edited for formatting, was presented and approved at the November 2019 Faculty Senate Meeting.
Next Steps: Rank and Promotion Committee to be established to initiate Rank and Promotion in 2020-2021 Academic Year.
1. Spring 2020, Committees selected and sat to prepare for Rank and Promotion process initiation in Fall 2020.
2. Fall 2020, Committees will begin process of Ranking Faculty for start of Spring 2020 Semester.
3. Spring 2021, Initial Faculty Ranking will be complete.
4. Spring 2021 Rank and Promotion Committee will begin reviewing Promotions and new Ranking of non-ranked faculty for Fall 2021.

History: At the request of Faculty Senate in the December 2019 Meeting, Faculty Grievance Policy was reviewed and modified by CFI to conform with UA Board Policy. The revised document was presented to Faculty Senate at the February 2020 Meeting for the First Reading. Further edits for formatting were made and this document was presented at the March 2020 Faculty Senate Meeting for Second Reading. The Policy was approved by Faculty Senate and will be sent to College Council for next steps.
